How to Score Better in FSc and O Level Chemistry: A Practical Study Guide

Chemistry is one of the subjects students most often say they "study a lot for" without their marks actually improving. The problem is rarely effort, it is usually how that effort is spent. Here is what actually moves the needle.

Keep a running list of your own mistakes Every time you get a numerical or concept wrong, write it down in one place with the correct method next to it. Most students repeat the same three or four types of mistakes across multiple attempts without realizing it, a mistake log makes that pattern visible so you can actually fix it instead of just moving on.

Get help on the specific topic, not the whole subject If organic mechanisms are not clicking after a genuine attempt, that is a very different problem from struggling with mole concept calculations, and needs a different kind of help.
